A fantastic spot for dinner (and sunset) is Vista de las Olas ("view of the waves") in Mal Pais. It sits high up on a hill with an infinity pool and swim-up bar overlooking the ocean. The dining room is a huge open-air hut with communal grill for cooking steak, chicken, brats, fish, or ribs. Really fun.
One of my favorite spots at Pranamar Villas was the hammock strung between two palm trees at the ocean's edge. It was so peaceful, with the sound of the waves, a light breeze, and the occasional iguana sunning himself nearby. They sell beautiful woven hammocks in town - these are in Montezuma - but sadly I have nowhere to hang one in Charlestown. And it wouldn't be quite the same if I did :)
