City Pool

It was cloudy on the coastline this weekend, but sunny in the city. Where to go to catch some rays?

The city pool!

I was pleasantly surprised to visit the one in Charlestown, which was mostly occupied by young mothers and toddlers. There are two pools, actually - a big one that ranges from 3-4 feet deep, and a smaller one that is 11 feet deep. Both are perfectly clean and manned by lifeguards.

My girlfriends and I brought our beach chairs and set up camp for a few hours of sunbathing and swimming. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon (especially if you smuggle in some sandwiches from Sorelle).
